From Sorong Airport terminal, take an official airport taxi or Grab/Gojek directly to Pelabuhan Rakyat (Sorong Public Ferry Harbour). The ride takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Board the standard Express Bahari fastboat across the Dampier Strait to Waisai. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, offering Executive and VIP cabin options.
We are located just 650 meters from Waisai Harbour. Our local team meets you as soon as you step off the boat at the dock. While boat crews do not handle bags during the crossing, our team will assist you with heavy luggage upon arrival and transfer you directly. The last public ferry to Waisai departs at 14:00 WIT (2:00 PM). If your flight lands after 12:30 PM, you will need to stay overnight in Sorong (we recommend Swiss-Belhotel or Rylich Panorama) and catch the next morning ferry (09:00 WIT), or charter a private speedboat transfer.
The mandatory Raja Ampat Conservation PIN and Environmental Service permit is valid for 12 months (IDR 1,000,000 for foreigners, IDR 500,000 for Indonesian citizens). You can purchase your conservation card directly online at kkprajaampat.id, or at the harbour counter in Sorong / Waisai upon arrival.
